Golden Eye is a
substantial house, which has been newly built in the plantation style
and is located on a ridge above the west coast of Barbados in the
renowned district of St James, close to Sandy Lane. The house has
fantastic 180-degree views overlooking the Caribbean Sea and is a three
minute drive to the beach.
The luxurious
accommodation is on two floors. It comprises five sizeable bedrooms (two
with four-poster double beds and two twin bedrooms), each with their own
ensuite bathrooms with power showers.
The ground floor
is open plan. There is an impressive central hall with an atrium, a
fully equipped kitchen with dining for eight people, which leads onto a
formal dining area to seat up to 12. There is a sitting room, TV room,
separate study and cloakroom. French doors open on to the terrace with a
couple of steps down on to the terrace with its attractive private swimming
pool. The house is equipped with the very latest security system.
The house is
furnished with beautiful custom made furniture imported directly from
Indonesia and Bali.
The house is
located within a five-minute drive of Holetown, where there are local
shops, a supermarket and a large choice of excellent restaurants. The
airport is a 35 minute drive away.
